It gives Meg even more of a convoluted past if you take that into play. She seems to just be this poor loner when in reality she's a princess. It gives me the impression that she had a falling out with her father or doesn't know who she is. If her father abandoned her pregnant mother that would also be a factor that affected Meg's hatred for men and reluctance to awknowledge love again and fit with the "petty and dishonest" label she has put on the world

Yes, I also think that Meg has some issues with her father, maybe that's why she started dating a jerk who would leave her after she had saved him from Hades.

she was referring to herself, the second she said "yes they are" she looked at her own reflection. She lied to Herc (check dishonest) and she is a minion (check petty). NO offence to Meg fans I'm one my self!

I think it's interesting how she sees herself. She could choose to be heartless about all the things she's done, but she feels guilt. Or perhaps she can't help it... She's quite a complicated character sometimes, isn't she? That's why I like her.

shes REALLY complicated! shes complicated in soooo many ways! but then it comes down to how she was when she agreed to Hades offer, correct? Before that night herc was every guy just gaga over her. her freedom looked a lot more important than wonderboy, she had the strength to bring him down, that is before she fell in love. after she fell in love, she descided to throw her freedom away for something she loved more. hercules, he was more important than her, mainly because she thought her life wasnt worth the life of some1 who acctually deserved the right to live freely. after she breaks it to Hades she looks like the most noble person. its just so wonderful to think about. Meg is just awesome, no matter how ungirly you are you can still have a romantic past......trust me, i know from my own sad romantic past , love is mostly disapointment. just cant find another wonderboy......

Wow! That just about said it! Nice work! Meg is an amazing character; perhaps the character with the most depth that Disney has ever created.

I think that in that point of the movie sha was falling for Hercules, and she was regretting what she was doing to him (she dated him to discover his weakness) but Meg didnĀ“t want to do that anymore, so she was referring to herself but also the guy that dumped her
